VOCALS-Ville Valo,Guitar-Linde Lindstrom,Drums-Gas Lipstick,Bass-Mige Amour,Keyboard-Emerson Burton.HIM-is a rock band from Helsinki-Finland formed in 1991 by vocalist: Ville Hermanni Valo,guitarist:Mikko Lindstrom and bassist:Mikko Paananen.they have realeased six full lenght albums to date.as of 2008,they are the first and only finnish band to have an album certified a"gold record"in the USA.HIM`S genre is debated in some circles;they musical style is often reffered to as"love metal"by valo andby the group`s fans.musically the band mix influences from hard rock,gothic rock and early heavy metal.Ville Valo has stated that the band started as a"Black Sabbath"tribute band of sorts".Valo stated in an interview on the Love Metal Archives Vol.1/DVD,that he was fed up with journalists and interviewers asking him(Valo),and the rest of the band what the genre of HIM was.he said in answer to that question,they created the genre entitled"love metal"(which was also thename of their 2003 album.)critics,incorrectly or not,frequently refer to them as alternative rock,gothic metal or gothic rock.however,their musical style varies between albums and songs.producer and friend-Tim Palmer.Father:Kari(taxi driver,sexy shop owner),Mother:Anita,Brother:jesse(boxer,b.1984),girlfriend:Jonna Nygren(together 2004-2006,broken engagement),Finnish ancestry:paternal,Hungarian ancestry:maternal.Risk factors:smoking,asthma.ville smokes more then 60 cigarettes att day.
